An angel, a demon and a soulmate walk into a bar…

Kendra Larkin had everything going in the right direction. Her life was seemingly perfect, and she wouldn't have changed a thing about it. Unfortunately, the course of her life was about to be forever altered. A tragic repelling accident lands her on Dr. Adam Chamberlain's operating table. For the people who are reading my reviews, I know what you are thinking: (another afterlife book?)… Not quite.
Kendra agrees to a deal proposed by a guardian angel to help save the soul of the man who is both her doctor and soulmate. But a deal is never a good thing and as it turned out she didn't read the small print. She might lose her soul to a guardian demon and go to Hell. Ha! Called it!
Kendra is having a hell of the week, her guardian angel Rhyan is in love with her, her soulmate Adam is in love with her and his guardian demon is conspiring against her so he can have her soul. What a girl to do?

That novel had many things I liked: a love triangle, an interesting story line, interesting names, undisclosed locations. I was once again introduced to another definition of soulmates and guardian angels. It was much closer to Christianity but with its own sexy twist.  The pace was a little too fast at times but I read it in only two days and will read book two very soon. Well done Kristie!
